My journey into the world of organic and non-GMO tea began at "Hill-top" in the heart
of Fairy Hill, a charming district nestled in the hills of Portland, Jamaica. Growing up
with my beloved grandmother, Nelzh, short for Nella, tea was not just a beverage in
our household but a cherished ritual that connected us to nature and each other.
Although we weren’t wealthy, we were rich in traditions. I remember the joy of
wandering through our backyard and selecting the perfect leaves so my grandmother
could make the perfect cup of tea. No matter the time of day, a fresh cup was always
within reach, and it was a simple pleasure that brought our family together. Years
later, inspired by my grandmother and our love for tea, I decided to start my own tea
business. I wanted to share the same joy and connection to nature that I experienced
as a child. As I continue this journey, I carry my grandmother’s spirit with me. Her
love for tea and her appreciation for the natural world inspires every decision I make.
